The Blueberry Liquors and Liqueurs are an easy to make liqueurs with blueberry juice.
The flavor of blueberry is the key to this liqueure.
Blueberry Juice Ingredients 1-2 cups blueberries, rinsed 1-3 cups water 1-1 1/2 tsp sugar 1 tsp lemon juice 2-3 drops water (or juice) 3-4 drops lemon juice (optional) 1-4 tsp vanilla extract Directions Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. In a small saucepan, add the water and the sugar.
Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring often to prevent it from boiling over.
Remove from heat and let cool for 10 minutes.
In another small saucepans, add 1/4 cup water and 1 tsp sugar.
Cook the mixture on a medium heat until it reaches a boil.
Add the lemon juice and stir to dissolve.
The mixture should be thick, so it will not bubble when you pour it in your mouth.
When you pour the mixture into your mouth, keep in mind that you want the liquid to be smooth and not runny.
Once you have stirred, you will want to make sure it is smooth and do not overboil.
Add vanilla extract and lemon juice to taste.
Remove the ice from the saucepan and allow it to cool for at least 10 minutes before using.
Blueberries and water will separate when you put the blueberries and the water in the freezer.
You can also use blueberry syrup or liquor if you do not have blueberries in the fridge.
Recipe Notes Make sure you add all the ingredients before you freeze them.
It will make the flavor of the blueberry and liqueuring more noticeable.
You may also want to add a pinch of salt.
