Watermelon liquesters, or liqueurs, are one of the simplest of the dessert cocktail.
It’s the easiest thing to make at home and it takes only a few ingredients, so it’s perfect for spring and summer weddings.
Here are the steps to make the perfect liqueour for your big day.1.
Start by making your first batch of watermelon syrup: Mix the watermelon juice and syrup together in a small saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.2.
Once the watermelons are almost completely boiled, remove the heat and let them cool for 10 minutes.
You can remove them from the heat later, but they’re pretty tasty so let them sit out for a few minutes.3.
Once cooled, place the liqueours in a saucepan with 1/2 teaspoon salt and a 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract.4.
Bring the water to a simmer and let it simmer for about 30 minutes.5.
Once you’ve finished the syrup, take the liques out of the saucepan, set them aside and let the liquors cool for about 5 minutes before you serve them.6.
Once cool, add your watermelon flavor to the limes and mix well. Enjoy!
