Posted October 10, 2018 08:31:36 The first Australian beer brewed with sweet revenge is coming to bars and restaurants across the country, with the launch of the Sweet Revenge Brewing Company.
The company will launch in the Sunshine Coast on October 7, with a first batch of its beer on tap on Thursday.
The beer is described as “truly bitter, but sweet”.
“Sweet revenge is the first Australian liqueour made using pure cane sugar, and has been crafted with passion and dedication to the sweet taste of the native Kiwi sugar cane,” the company said in a statement.
“The beer has been named after the Kiwi warrior and warrior spirit who made the sweet revenge lye that brought the war to the New Zealanders.”

“It was an idea that really caught the attention of David, and he said, ‘why not make it with sweet vengeance, just to see if it would work?'”
Mr Housar said.
“I was like, ‘sure, why not’.”
It’s really simple.
It has a sweet flavour, and it’s sweet, but it’s not bitter.
It’s a bit more of a refreshing, light liqueured drink.
“Mr Housers first tasted Sweet Revenge’s brew at a tasting party in Sydney in 2015.”
We had so many people come in who thought, ‘oh my god, I’m really enjoying this’.
“We didn’t think it would be so popular.
People loved it.
We didn’t have a ton of money for the beer, so we had to go to bars, and they loved it.””
It had a really positive effect on the people at the parties.
They loved it, so that was really the catalyst.””
I knew that it would make a big impact, and we had the best of intentions.
We just wanted to make it so people would like it.”
That’s why I love Kiwis, they like a drink.
They like a good shot of liquor.
“The first batch will be released on October 13.
The Sweet Revenge brewery was established by Auckland’s craft beer legend David Hoseer in 2012.
Mr Hoseers passion for craft beer began when he moved to New Zealand from Australia in 2004.”
He was born in Australia, but grew up in New Zealand, so he knew Kiwis very well.
I’ve been very lucky to have been involved in some of their great beers,” Mr Hose, who is also a musician, said.

It tastes amazing.
“Mr Koolan said the craft beer industry was a “once in a lifetime opportunity” to create an Australian beer that would appeal to Kiwis.”
As a Kiwi, I was born and raised in New York City and I’ve travelled to every major city in the world,” he said.
Mr Koonan said it was important to give craft beer a go in Australia.”
If you want to do it in Australia you have to get a licence.
It needs a license to be brewed, it needs to be bottled and there needs to to be a licence for the yeast.””
There’s no way around it, it’s going to be popular, but I think that’s the way we’re going to see it happen.
We’re just going to make this as good as we can, and hope that Kiwis like it.”
