Bloomberg is reporting that the American Beverage Association is urging its members to be more conscious of how much they pour into their beverage containers.
According to the association, the average American consumes a whopping 7,200 mL of Liqueurs, with a range of 7,300-7,500 mL.
If you pour too much into a single bottle, the liqueurs are prone to molding, the association said.
This can lead to mold growth and, in some cases, to a potential death, the agency said.
The average American drinks about 1,600 mL of their Liqueures a day.
The American Beverages Association has also recommended the use of liqueour containers that are made from recycled plastic and glass, the Associated Press reported.
